Its always fun to come up with a new take on an old favourite. A tiny play on Grandma’s Flower Garden, featuring 1/2-inch hexagons in a slim, vertical pattern. Its simple, easy, and not your typical Grandmothers Flower Garden variety. Embroidery embellishments are optional.

SUPPLIES:

33- 1/2″ paper hexagon templates
11 – 2″ fabric squares for center hexagons
F8 background fabric for hexagons and flap
F8 feature fabric for side panels and back
F8 fabric for lining
F8 quilt batting
1/2″ diameter metal snap
1 1/2″ piece of 3/4″ ribbon for tab (optional)
1 skein of embroidery floss (optional)
Spray basting glue (optional)
