Made from corrosion-proof black plastic, the 1/4″ (#8) Black Plastic Tongueless Shock Cord Hook is used to secure, anchor, or tension 1/4″ (#8) shock cord. It provides a reliable end attachment point that can hook onto frames, fittings, or other hardware in marine, outdoor, or general fastening applications.

Installation is simple: thread the elastic through the cone, pass it through the hooks hole with about an inch sticking out, then slide the cone up to secure the elastic.

Note: While plastic offers top-tier resistance to the elements, it may not offer the same strength as other metal fittings.
