The 3M Scotchlite 8940 F.R. Silver Sew-On Industrial Reflective Tape is made of a wide-angle, exposed retro-reflective lenses bonded with a special polymer layer to an aramid backing. This tape is ideal for applications that undergo industrial laundering and is recommended for use on medium and heavyweight fabrics.

Application Instructions:

• Sew in place using a lockstitch, with no more than 12 stitches per inch (2.54 cm)
• Position stitching at least 5/64″ (2 mm) from the edge of the reflective fabric
• Material can be cut by hand, die-cut, or guillotined
• When applying multiple pieces to a single surface or as part of a set, ensure they are matched to maintain consistent daytime color and nighttime reflectivity
