Softly coloured, but contrasting belt with pattern based on Finnish Iron Age imagery. The pattern was designed by Viivi Merisalo and edited and published by Mervi Pasanen and Maikki Karisto. It is called “bee feet”.

Pure, locally produced wool and period technique makes it a nice accessory for a historical costume. I used very thin woolen weft so the pattern is more symmetrical and neater.
