The belt is a fine example of modern use of a traditional weaving techique. I designed this pattern myself in 2015 and it was one of my very first own designs. This is only the 5th belt with this pattern I ever made.

I picked very vivid shades of blue and bright yellow for contrasting details to give it a luxurious feel, while the central pattern is simple, elegant and clean.
The woven part is 290 cm long which makes the total length including tassels over 3m

This belt would be a nice gift for a reenactor or LARPer. I can also imagine it as a handfasting cord or wedding dress accessory. It can also be worn with modern clothes. Just imagine how it transforms the look of a common winter coat!
