NATHALIE LETE – CONSERVATORY CRAFT – FOLK ART – Eyelet, Amber is inspired by memories of traveling in Mexico and Oaxaca in
2020 before the pandemic.

I visited the wonderful Folk Art museums. I was very impressed by the mix of lace, the bright cut-paper garlands and flowers, the terracotta animals, the heart motifs everywhere and the colorful textiles and ribbons.

I wanted to create joyful patterns with the rich contrasts and colorful images I still had in my mind .
