And as with anything handmade, finishing details are the icing on the cake and can be whatever you want them to be. A few simple ideas are shown in the photos here, but you can be creative with patchwork, applique, embroidery, etc.

3 FQs – main coordinating prints
3 F8s – contrast colids for zipper binding
1/2 yd lining fabric
1/2 yd batting (thinner is better)
7″ zipper (minimum length) plastic, non-separating
9″ zipper (minimum length) plastic, non separating
11″ zipper (minimum length) plastic, non separating
NOTE: Plastic zippers can be longer and trimmed to fit.
Masking tape (to baste zipper – much easier than pins)
Optional: Assorted ribbons, trim, lace, labels, buttons, charms, etc. for embellishments, three 5″ lengths of 1/8″ wide ribbon for zipper pulls.
